POLYTECHNIC COMMON ENTRANCE TEST-2021 for 10th Students

The State Board of technical education and training, Telangana, Hyderabad going to conduct Polytechnic common entrance test(POLYCET-2021) for the candidates seeking admission into all diploma courses in engineering /non engineering /technology offered at Polytechnic colleges including Govt, aided and unaided private colleges and diploma in agriculture engineering ,seed technology and organic agriculture courses offered by professor Jaya shanker Telangana state agriculture University for the academic year 2021 - 22

Applications are invited from candidates passed SSC or its equivalent or recognised by the board of secondary education Telangana state, Hyderabad are appear in polycet- 2021 for seeking admission into diploma courses in engineering and non-engineering, technology offered at Polytechnic colleges including government aided and Unaided Polytechnic institutions in Telangana state and agriculture courses offered by professor Jaya shanker Telangana state agricultural University and animal husbandry and fisheries courses offered by P V Narasimha Rao Telangana veterinary University for academic year 2021- 22.

Eligibility to appear polycet 2021: Candidates should have passed SSC examination conducted by State Board of secondary education, Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent they took by the board of secondary education.

Candidates passed or appeared from CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, TOSS, APOSS, are also eligible for appearing POLYCET-2021.

 10^th class examination conducted by various state boards of secondary education in India with a mathematics as one of these subjects and obtain it at least 35 marks in the qualifying examination.

 ⭕No Age restriction preparing for polycet 2021.

 How to apply for polycet 2021 : Online filling of application for policy 2021 is facilitated by the State Board of technical education training Telangana Hyderabad at www.polycetts.nic.in .

Students can also apply online at polycetts.nic.in   or   at nearest ts   online centres

Pattern and Syllabus for POLYCET-2021

Duration for POLYCET-2021 is 2 hours 30 minutes

The qualifying marks in POLYCET will be:  30% of 120 marks for courses offered by SBTET  i.e. 36 marks in Maths, physics, chemistry put together

30% of 120 marks i.e., 36 Marks in Maths (60/2)  , Biology, Physics, Chemistry put together for Admission into Agricultural Polytechnics of Prof. Jaya shanker Agricultural University, Hyderabad and Veterinary Polytechnics of P.V. Narasimha Rao Veterinary University, Hyderabad .

Fill in the application form as per the following guidelines at polycetts.nic.in :

1. First fill the 10^th class Hall ticket number, year of pass and date of birth
2. Fill your name as per school records with one letter for each box Leave a gap between parts of your name
3. Fill your father’s name
4. Fill in your date of birth in DD MM YYYY (date month year  ) format
5. Fill in your address details for correspondence
6. Fill in the place where you would like to appear examination
7. Enter the area code to which you are local to Telangana
8. Enter your reservation category (BC/SC/ST)
9. Enter your special category if any (CAP/SP/PH/NSS)
10. Fill the minority community details as entered in your school records
11. Fill in your willingness to appear the examination in Urdu medium. Examination in Urdu medium will conduct it only at Hyderabad center
12. Fill in the Aadhaar uidai number
13. Sign the declaration with regard to your physical fitness to pursue the Polytechnic courses

Exam Fee :

Rs. 400/- for General

Rs. 250/- for SC/ST
