Lockdown in Telangana

 Government of Telangana decided to impose lock down across the state of Telangana from 10.00 AM on12 .5 .2021   to 6.00 AM on 22 .5. 2021.

👉Lockdown extended till 10.06.2021 by government of telangana

The lockdown restriction shall not apply during the period from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. everyday

The Government of Telangana has been reviewed and government is satisfied that it is expedient impose additional restrictions to control and contain the spread of covid-19 and decided to impose a lock down across the state of Telangana for a period of 10 days. 

The lockdown restriction shall not apply during the period from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. everyday so during the lockdown period the following regulations and measures shall be enforced . 

•  passenger vehicles shall be regulated on the state borders however movement of commodities shall be permitted without any restrictions .
•  all public transport services including TSRTC buses, Hyderabad metro , auto-rickshaws will be permitted from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. only. the moment of Healthcare workers and passengers for accessing emergency Medical Services shall be permitted .
• operations of all interstate buses and transport services including those shall be suspended
•  Every person who is required to observe home isolation shall strictly observe the same failing which he will be liable for penal action and shifted to government isolation facility
• All government, as well as private establishments shall make payment of wages / salaries fully to the workers / employees including those working under contract and Outsourcing basis during the above period any violation will be viewed seriously and will invite penal action and the relevant act. 
• Marriage related gathering in case of already fixed marriages shall ensure that social distancing, wearing of face marks, and other covid related  protocols with the maximum number of persons allowed not exceed 40
• Funeral /last rites gathering shall endure  social distancing and face marks and other covid related protocols which is the maximum number of persons allowed not exceeding 20
• All religious places /places of worship shall be closed for public worship religious gatherings shall not be permitted .
• all anganwadi center shall remain closed .children and pregnant women ,lactating mother will be provide take home ration during this period.
•  all pregnant women who are expected to deliver during the period will be listed monitored and assisted by medical staff to ensure institutional delivery.
• temporary police Check Post shall be set up a suitable locations to ensure strict compliance of the above orders.

permitted activities :the following activities including movement of personnel and goods associated with these activities will be exempted from lock down restrictions and will be permitted during the said period,

• Medical services like hospital and diagnostic services including vaccination and related activities
• Agriculture and related operation
• Production sale and supply of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides agricultural implements and spare parts  and moment of these items including those of harvesters, transplant and tractors etc
•  procurement operations of agriculture and horticulture produce including operation of rice mills moment of produce and hamalies.
• cold storage and warehouses
•  medical shops and pharmacies 
• manufacturing activity relating to drugs and medical equipment
•  moment of medicine oxygen vaccine etc
•  essential services like production and distribution of power ,supply of drinking water 
• sanitation services in gram panchayat and urban local bodies 
• MGNREGA  works
•  petrol pumps located in national highways ( petrol pump located in places other than the national highways shall be open between 6 to 10 a.m. only) 
• Banks ATMs insurance services and related activities 
• print and electronic media 
• supply chain and transport of essential commodities including milk ,vegetables, groceries and dairy products 
• all security service including those provided by private agencies.
•  E-Commerce of goods and merchandise including food , pharmaceutical and medical equipment .
• IT and ITES including Telecom postal and internet services .
• moment and distribution of LPG cylinders .
• All Construction and project activities where workers are available in security labor camps

Prohibited activities: cinema halls ,amusement parks , clubs , swimming pools,  gymnasiums shall be completely closed during the prescribed period

The government establishments : The following department shall fully functional

•  health Medical and Family Welfare Department,
•  Police department
•  Urban local bodies /Panchayati Raj Institutions 
• fire
•  Electricity  and water supply 
• taxation ,excise ,commercial tax, transport along with the societies and corporations 
• agriculture Horticulture and allied departments 
• civil supplies department 
• all staff and officers drafted for covid-19 related activities 
• all other officers as may be notified by the government from the time to time .

All other offices shall function with 33% strength as per the roster drawn by the heads of offices all Central government offices shall also function with the strength and not exceeding 33%.
