STUDY LEAVE

This leave is granted by the government, only for the study of scientific, technical and other similar issues for a period not exceeding 2 years in total service after 5 years of service. This period should not exceed 28 months if it is combined with leave with allowance (Study Leave Rules Rule 2). EOL can be taken in conjunction with this leave without any restriction (note under Rule 13 of the Study Leave Rules). He draws during vacation, leaving the salary at half pay (Rule 12). Save in the most extraordinary circumstances, NGOs will not be given study leave.

SC / ST Employees:

(GOMs.No.342, Department of Social Welfare (B3), Dt.30.08.1977) When obtaining higher education qualifications requires advance for further promotion as per regulations, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe employees should be recruited for higher studies in the country with full pay and allowances. However, this facility is subject to the following conditions:

This facility is available only for first generation Scheduled Caste and Employment and Scheduled Tribe candidates and Non-Gazetted Classification.

The study period should be two years or less to pay full salary without loss of  leave.

Candidates will be allowed only two chances if any qualifying exams, tests etc. are paired for any reason.

The applicant will sign a bond stating that he will return and pay Rs. 10,000 / - for early failure (Rupees ten thousand only): e. This facility is given only to candidates who have accepted the record with responsibility for discipline and work.

The candidate must be placed in at least five years of service in the category of reducing himself and g. This facility is only available for such a training program in the career of the employees
