Govt of telangana decided to pass all students of 1oth class in the state are passed in SSC public examinations due to pandemic covid -19 spreading in telangana state. Government after careful examination of the whole matter, the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana Hyderabad, is hereby permitted to declare all X-Class (SSC / OSSC / VOCATIONAL) students studying at Government / Zilla Parishad / With help / Private without help and all schools under various administrations and taking SSC exams during the Academic Year 2019-20 as approved, as a single measure, duly considering their performance in internal evaluations for 20% (Four Formative Evaluation) in terms of GOMs.No.17, Department of School Education (PEProg.II), dt.14.5.2014 as amended from time to time, and decided to scale 20% of internal evaluation scores to 100% of scores and students were also allowed to be awarded grade points based on internal evaluation.

In references 3rd & 4th Read above, the Telangana government imposed a statewide lockdown from 3/22/2020 onward to prevent and contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

2. In reference 7thRead above, the Director Government Examinations has reported that the Honorable Supreme Court issued certain instructions on May 19, 2020 on the conduct of the SSC public examinations and, again, on the review of the situation, the Honorable Supreme Court issued further instructions on 06/06/2020. Taking into account court orders, public examinations of the SSC in the state were postponed vide reference 6th read above.

 

3. The Government reviewed the extraordinary conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic that prevail in the state and the status of examinations for Xth Class students in other states, it is hereby decided to declare the results as Approved for all students of Class - X OSSC / VOCATIONAL) studying in Government / Zilla Parishad / With Help / Private Without Help and all Schools under various administrations that take the SSC exams during the Academic Year, 2019-20, as a sole measure, duly considering their performance in internal evaluations for 20% (Four Formative Evaluation) in terms of GOMs.No.17, Department of School Education (PE Prog. II), dt.14.5.2014 and its modifications from time to time, and decided to scale 20% of the internal assessment scores to 100% of the scores.

 

4. According to reference 1st Read above, the internal assessment scores obtained by the candidate based on four school-wide assessment tests have been uploaded by the respective school to the Government Director's exam website during March 2020. Data from Internal assessment scores pertaining to all candidates taking the SSC exams are available from the Director, Government Exam for the purpose of declaring grade points.

 

5. Government after careful examination of the whole matter, the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana Hyderabad, is hereby permitted to declare all X-Class (SSC / OSSC / VOCATIONAL) students studying at Government / Zilla Parishad / With help / Private without help and all schools under various administrations and taking SSC exams during the Academic Year 2019-20 as approved, as a single measure, duly considering their performance in internal evaluations for 20% (Four Formative Evaluation) in terms of GOMs.No.17, Department of School Education (PEProg.II), dt.14.5.2014 as amended from time to time, and decided to scale 20% of internal evaluation scores to 100% of scores and students were also allowed to be awarded grade points based on internal evaluation.

      6.The Commissioner of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad and the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana will take the necessary action on the matter accordingly.
