ORDER
In the 2nd to 4th references read
above, the Government of Telangana imposed a statewide lockdown from 03.22.2020
to 05.07.2020 to prevent and contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In reference 5a read above, the Commissioner of School
Education, Telangana, Hyderabad reported that the Honorable Chief Minister of
the State of Telangana announced that since there is no detention system for
classes I to IX in the State, there is no need to carry out exams and all
students must be promoted to the following upper classes for the 2020-21
academic year, as the summative assessment exams (SA-2) for classes I to IX
during the 2019-20 academic year could not be taken as programmed in reference
1, read above due to the blockade and requested the Government to issue the
necessary orders in the matter.
3. The Government, after careful examination of the matter
and taking into account the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, hereby
decides to cancel the Summative Assessment-II exams for Classes I to IX and
order the promotion of all students from Classes I to IX. Study in government,
assisted and private schools without assistance during the academic year,
2019-20, for the following upper classes in the academic year, 2020-21.

The Commissioner of School Education, Telangana,
Hyderabad will take the necessary steps in this regard accordingly.
